How to prepare files for printing
Our goal is to ensure your layout looks exactly as intended in print. Please submit a print-ready PDF (recommended PDF/X-4) with embedded fonts or text converted to outlines, prepared in the CMYK color space, and with added bleed.
Acceptable formats: PDF (PDF/X-4), AI, EPS, TIFF, PNG, JPG, ZIP.
Quick checklist before uploading
- Bleed: at least 3 mm on all sides; safe margins: essential elements ≥ 3 mm from the cut.
- Colors: CMYK; if PANTONE shades are needed, specify them in the file and comments.
- Resolution: 200–300 dpi at actual size; avoid excessive JPEG compression.
- Fonts and lines: fonts saved as outlines; lines no thinner than 0.25 pt in a single color.
- Effects and markings: prepare shadows/transparencies predictably; varnish, creasing, cutting – in a separate Spot color with Overprint.
File organization and naming
- One product – one PDF. Arrange multiple pages in one document in the correct order.
- Name without diacritics: for example,
businesscard_90x50mm_500pcs.pdf. - If submitting multiple resources (images, fonts, data tables) – create a ZIP archive.
VDP – variable data printing
- Data: CSV, XLSX, or ODS (UTF-8), with column names in the first row.
- Preview: include a PDF with field placement and a brief note on fonts/colors.
File submission and assistance
Attach files to the order as PDF or ZIP. For large volumes, provide a secure cloud link in the order comments. We will resolve technical questions faster if you include a brief note about paper, finishing, and print run.
